The USS - Hood sets sail from base station K-8 near the Klingon Border to fulfill its Destiny.  One of three scenes based on scenario (SH19.0)  called "The Mighty Hood Goes Down".

The ship is the USS Federation DN.

Here are 2 other promo-pics for the PRIME DIRECTIVE PBEM. Some may notice that The Alliance is missing a Kzinti representative...unfortunately the BC model was corrupted and had to sit in drydock.

Finally a scene that depicts those wonderful Lyran ESGs...and the debut of the Lyran War Cruiser (from the Red Claw clan). The incoming drones are, of course, Kzinti.

This is a shameless tribute picture for Steve Cole's wife Leanna, who gave the OK to do the "Deal" and "Save" Star Fleet Battles. The story of this ship is...

Then Captain Leanna Cole was from the first group of captains to command the new unified Star Fleet cruiser. She was picked because of her repeated exemplary service while serving aboard a Terran National Cruiser as first officer.

She become known as the "Spirit of Star Fleet" during a confrontation with an alien task force and a new Federation protectorate race. The confrontation lingered on for months with negotiations constantly breaking down. Finally, she took the initiative and lead her small fleet against the task force and succeeded in liberating the protectorate. Exact details of what happened are sketchy, but before she committed the fleet, she was quoted ending her address to the fleet as saying "...Ok, lets do it!" Simple words, but they were spoken with such emotion and determination, they are credited with giving the unified fleet the spirit it needed to succeed.

In Y174 Dreadnought NCC-2109 was commissioned as the USS Admiral Leanna Cole in honor of the retiring Admiral. It took only 5 months of active service for it the ship itself to earn its place in history as "The Spirit of Star Fleet".

"...2 ships...not much of a strike force!" Well, it started as a study for a photon torpedo effect i was working on, but i thought it looked ok enough to put in the gallery.

This is a scene i created about 5 months ago for the Prime Directive PBEM. It's a Federation Old Light Cruiser that's undergoing refit.

This started as a test scene for the Klingon disruptors.

This is also a test shot. I was experimenting with the idea that if the Movie Constitution class was self illuminated, then perhaps The Original Series might have been. I'm still experimenting with the lighting, but i thought people might enjoy it.
